Itinerary
-
Spend a week walking the Lycian Way and the Turquoise Coast, based in the seaside town of Kas. The route threads through pine forests, olive groves and coastal cliffs, linking Lycian rock tombs, a Roman lighthouse, the 13-kilometre sweep of Patara Beach and the mountain forests around Mount Akdag. Swims in the Mediterranean are built into most days, and a free day lets you choose between a Greek island ferry, a sea-kayak over the sunken city at Kekova or simply cafes and coves in Kas.
-
Arrive in Kas, a harbour town backed by forested cliffs. Your leader meets the group at the hotel at 7 pm for a welcome briefing; an optional group dinner follows. The evening is free to wander the waterfront and settle in.
