Alesia Atlas wants everyone to be able to discover and book tours, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, in line with the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882).
What we do
- Pages work with a keyboard, with visible focus and a “Skip to content” link.
- Images have text alternatives, and buttons and dialogs have accessible names.
- Text and buttons use sufficient colour contrast, and there is a dark mode in the Gen Z design.
- The layout adapts to small screens and to zoom up to 200%.
- Animations are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
Known limitations
- Interactive route maps can be hard to use with a screen reader. The same information is available in the day-by-day itinerary next to the map.
- Tour texts, photos and videos supplied by tour operators may not always have complete text alternatives or captions.
- Payment takes place on our partner’s checkout, which we do not control.
Accessible travel
Most tours are not designed for travellers with reduced mobility, but some partners can make arrangements. Ask us before booking and we will check with the tour operator.
