Itinerary
-
Picture clear turquoise water and a string of quieter islands in the southern Cyclades, with plenty of time to slow down. Along the way you'll eat and drink your way through Greek village tavernas, wander historic ruins, and swim off pretty beaches. Home base is a new 57 ft yacht, so your days are set up for easy sailing. Ready when you are, skipper.
-
Your trip begins in Mykonos, where the group meets at 5pm for a welcome chat and safety briefing. Once that's done, the yacht sets sail toward Santorini. Linger on deck with a drink if you fancy it, or head back into Mykonos town for an after-sunset stroll before returning to the boat for the night.

Possible stops include Syros, Naxos, Paros, Antiparos, Ios, Sifnos or Folegandros, conditions allowing. You'll reach Santorini by evening, in time to watch the sun drop behind the whitewashed cliffside villages — the highlight of this leg.

The yacht drops anchor at Thirassia, a calmer island with whitewashed villages perched high on the cliffs. There's time for one last swim in the deep blue caldera water before you climb up to the hilltop village. From there, the sunset views stretch across toward Santorini. Later, the group comes together for a farewell dinner on board to close out the sailing trip.

Included Activities

Your final morning starts with breakfast, then you'll leave Thirassia and sail across to Santorini, where the tour ends. This is your last stretch aboard the yacht, so gather your things before you step off. If you'd like more time to explore Santorini once the sailing wraps up, book extra nights in advance — you'll already be right there, so the timing lines up nicely.

- IMPORTANT NOTES
- 1. Space is limited on the boat and especially in your cabin. You can only take soft sided luggage on board, such as a mid-sized backpack or soft duffel bag. (Less than is 15kgs). Suitcases are not appropriate for our Sailinthe tour partner as they are not pliable enough to fit into the niches available for luggage.
- 2. Fresh water is very limited on board, and as such we ask for your understanding that showers are limited to one quick shower per person a day.
- 3. It's important to note that the beds in the cabins are not the usual length of a standard bed. The length is approximately 1.8 meters (6 feet), and the single bunks are 1800mm (6 feet) x 610mm (2 feet).
- 4. Electrical outlets on board are European style with 2 pins (240V), and are only operational while in port. It is recommended to bring an external battery pack for charging personal electronics.
- 5. This is a self-catering trip, and everybody will be expected to participate, cleaning up after themselves, and keeping the boat ship shape at all times (including washing the dishes, and emptying the bins when ashore.)
- 6. Physical Rating:
- - You should be able to climb up small steep ladders, or walk over a wooden plank (without a handrail) when boarding/disembarking the vessel, and be physically able to carry your luggage.
- - You will often be climbing in and out of the yachts inflatable tenders at beach landing spots, and boarding/disembarking the tender from the yacht in sometimes challenging conditions.
- - Moving around the yacht while under sail can be challenging as it moves in the waves or heels over to its side. You should be physically able, and comfortable, to move about in such conditions.
- 7. Please note that this tour combines with other this tour. As such, the staff and some travel companions on your tour may have previously been traveling together with the tour partner, prior to Day 1 of your tour. Likewise, some staff and travel companions may be continuing together on another this tour, after your trip concludes. You may also be changing Skipper CEO and boat.
- 8. If you don't have an EU Drivers Licence - make sure to get an International Licence, to be able to rent a car on the islands.
- 9. Pre-Trip Contact (G App)
- For an enhanced sailing experience, we highly recommend downloading the the tour partner App. This essential tool provides your joining instructions and allows you to connect with your Skipper CEO two days prior to your departure date. Your Skipper CEO will also reach out through the G app chat section with any updates and information required. Stay informed and prepared by accessing all necessary trip details through the app. Ensure a seamless and stress-free start to your adventure by downloading the the tour partner App today!
- OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES
- We recommend allowing up to €175 (approx. $200 USD) for optional activities during your trip. This gives you the flexibility to take part in and enjoy unique local experiences, like G curated guided cultural tours, tastings, or outdoor adventures that can enhance your journey and help you connect more deeply with the culture and destination. No optional activities

It was a fabulous yachting tour of the Greek Islands. I'll be recommending this to my friends.

Short, but sweet. Sailing from island to island was very cool, much more fun than just ferry hopping. Because of the nature of sailing, the itinerary is very open, and you have the chance to see many places, where you would never go as a normal ferry using tourist, like hidden caves, or snorkeling spots near sunken WW2 planes. Our Skipper CEO Kristien did a great job at letting us choose what to do next and giving us the best possible experience. The Group I travelled with, even though very small, didn't have the best cohesion, so a lot of sub group split up. Luckily this is not the norm on GAdventuresw trips, but probably just bad luck. Maybe the age difference was too high. FYI: Yes, in the end you don't stop on Santorini, but the neighbor island Thirasia, this is because neither in the ferry port, or the old port, there is a possibility for sailing boats to dock. I think that was a good thing though, because this way we could see an additional island. In the morning a water taxi brought us to the ferry port, where busses already waited to bring people to Fira, so I had zero problems with transfer.

Well organized, boat in good condition and the particioant fun. We dis some sailing, some mitoring deownding on the wins. The skipper Leo was willing to share and teach and we helped with a few of the tasks. We ankered in some remote beaches which was a wonderful experience.

Miguel was a great tour guide! I enjoyed getting the full sailing experience while Greek island jumping. It was a life changing experience.

Gill
The sailing trip was amazing, however I was surprised how involved I was accepted to get involved, this should be emphasised within the advertising. The skipper was fabulous, patient with instructions with us non sailing people and very competent with his skills. Disappointed with joining instructions as stated we would finish in a santorini port however we finished on a nearby island and was ferried to santorini. Had to make some hurried calls to rearrange taxis etc. In all a really good experience and would consider another.

Lloyd
Was younger people oriented more than i expected. Perhaps put the age group more restricted. Also the meals was less organized than should be. The tours were great, the captain excellent and no big issues and island agenda great
