Spend eight days exploring Antalya and its surroundings at your own pace with a rental car. The plan mixes relaxed mornings in the Old Town and on Lara and Konyaaltı beaches with active afternoons — rafting in Köprülü Canyon, walking the wooden paths of Sapadere Canyon, and a jeep safari into the Taurus foothills. You will also visit the ancient harbour of Phaselis, see the natural flames at Mount Chimaera, and walk through one of the world's longest aquarium tunnels. Accommodation, meals and park tickets are not included; you choose where to stay and eat.

Collect your rental car at the airport and drive to your hotel in Antalya. Settle in, then if it is still light, take a short walk to get a feel for the city — perhaps down to the harbour or up to the Old Town walls.

Next, head to Antalya Aquarium to walk the 131-metre tunnel tank — sharks, rays and reef fish pass overhead.
