Itinerary

This six-day walk follows the first section of the Dolomites Ronda, a long-distance route linking high alpine pastures, dramatic passes and two nature parks. You start on the Alpe di Siusi, Europe's largest high plateau, cross the Gardena Pass beneath the Marmolada glacier and explore the Puez-Geisler and Fanes-Sennes-Prags parks. Each day offers three route choices ranging from two to seven and a half hours, so you can match the walking to your fitness and mood. Nights are spent in comfortable hotels, with two consecutive nights in Corvara so you can unpack once.
-
Arrive at the Alpe di Siusi (Seiser Alm) by public bus or car and settle into your first hotel. The vast meadow plateau, framed by the Sciliar and Sassolungo groups, gives an immediate sense of the scale and openness that characterises the whole week.
