FAQ

Booking

How do I book a tour?

Pick a departure on the tour page and send a booking request. We confirm availability with the operator and email you a secure payment link from our booking partner. Your booking is confirmed once you pay on the partner’s checkout.

Is Alesia Atlas the tour organiser?

No. Each tour is organised and run by the local operator named on the tour page. Alesia Atlas helps you find and compare tours; payment and booking confirmation are handled by our booking partner.

Do I need an account to book?

No. A free account is optional: it keeps your saved tours, your trips and your reviews in one place.

Deposits and payment

How much is the deposit?

It depends on the tour and the operator. You find the deposit and when the balance is due under “Trip essentials” on each tour page. The exact amount is shown again at checkout before you pay.

Which payment methods can I use?

You pay on our booking partner’s secure checkout. The accepted cards and methods are listed there; the most common ones are shown in the footer of this site.

Is the price on the site final?

Prices come from the operators and can change until you book. The final price is confirmed in your payment link and on the checkout page.

Cancellation

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes, under the cancellation policy of your tour. Each operator sets its own rules; the tour page shows them in the cancellation table. See our Cancellation & refunds page for how it works.

What if the operator cancels the tour?

If a departure is cancelled by the operator, you are offered another date or a refund of what you paid, according to the booking terms.

On the trip

How big are the groups?

We focus on small-group tours. The maximum group size is shown on every tour page and in the tour comparison.

Can I travel solo?

Absolutely — many travellers join on their own. Look at the room options when you book: some tours offer a shared room with another traveller of the same gender, others charge a single supplement for a private room.

Do I need a visa?

Visa and entry rules depend on your passport. Please check the official government website of each country you visit, and make sure your passport is valid for long enough. Getting the right documents is the traveller’s responsibility.

Who do I contact if something goes wrong?

During the trip, contact your guide or the operator’s emergency number in your joining instructions — they can act on the spot. For payments, changes and refunds, contact the booking partner through your confirmation email. And you can always write to us: we help you reach the right people.
