Plans change. This page explains how cancellations and refunds work for the tours on this site. The exact rules always depend on the tour you booked.
Every tour has its own policy
Each tour is run by a different operator, and each operator sets its own cancellation policy. You find it on the tour page in the cancellation table: how much you get back depending on how many days before departure you cancel. Your booking confirmation repeats the policy that applies to you.
How to cancel or change a booking
- Use the contact details in your booking confirmation from our booking partner — they handle changes and cancellations.
- Cancel in writing and keep the confirmation of your cancellation.
- If you are unsure how to proceed, write to us with your booking details and we point you to the right place.
Refunds
- Refunds follow the tour’s cancellation policy and are paid by the booking partner to the original payment method.
- Deposits are often non-refundable close to departure — check the tour’s table before you book.
- If the operator cancels a departure, you are offered another date or a refund of what you paid.
Travel insurance
We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical costs and repatriation. Some operators require it to join the tour.
Requests that were not paid yet
A booking request on Alesia Atlas is free and not binding until you pay. If you change your mind before paying, just ignore the payment link or let us know.
