Itinerary

This self-guided walking week splits your stay between Pocol, a quiet hamlet 6 km from Cortina d'Ampezzo, and the shore of Lake Misurina. From these two bases you can reach the Tofane, Cinque Torri, Tre Cime di Lavaredo and Fanes park massifs without long daily transfers. The routes are graded for moderate hikers: well-marked paths, some short cable-assisted sections, and daily walking times of roughly four to six hours. You sleep in comfortable hotels, eat half-board meals featuring local dishes, and move at your own pace with a detailed roadbook and GPX tracks supplied before departure.
-
Arrive independently at your hotel in Pocol, about 6 km from Cortina d'Ampezzo. Check-in is from 2 pm; settle in, then meet the group or simply enjoy a first dinner at the hotel before your first night in the Dolomites.

The tour was fabulous!

We didn’t have a good experience with Grand Angle. Our contact from the agency was changed 2 times and our requirements were lost in the transition. The GPS files that they said being tailored to our route were not actually, and we had to revise them ourselves. The agents didn't seem to have good knowledge of the route and the documents they provided were not helpful either. We ran into some unexpected dangerous trails and survived on our own. There was a last minute surprise related to a private transfer that we booked through the agency, and we ended up paying additional fees. In sum, we didn’t feel the agents were very reliable and helpful, and they only did the least for our hiking tour. Fortunately, we were able to survive on our own.

Everything was perfect, the hotel locations were close to hiking, towns and in a beautiful setting. The hiking maps were easy to follow. The company keeps us informed and sent us the information needed to make this trip a wonderful experience. Thank you

A very beautiful region. Beware of the late snow, which means you can't do the whole circuit. August and September seem to me to be the best months.

very nice walk; to be done from July onwards (heavy snow) if you want to do the full itinerary.

Very beautiful sites to discover absolutely. Well-marked walks, but even in June, snow can alter the route of some walks (or even cancel them).

A remarkable and grandiose site. Marked trails, identified by number. Contrasts between the mineral section above 2000 m, with its ochre colours and almost vertical walls, and the more verdant areas of scree and torrents, with their forests of conifers, pines and larches.

Superb region. Breathtaking walks and scenery!

Lovely family holiday. Discovered some superb and completely unexpected natural areas. A variety of hikes to suit all tastes, from rocky high mountains to desert plateaus, but also through larch forests, always with carefully planned itineraries. The hotel is very large, but the atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the staff are very attentive. We had a great week!
