Itinerary

  1. This eight-day round-trip gulet cruise departs from Fethiye and follows Turkey's Turquoise Coast, stopping at quiet coves, islands and historic sites before returning to Fethiye Harbour. You'll visit the lagoon at Ölüdeniz, the cliffs of Butterfly Valley, the Byzantine ruins on St Nicholas Island, the harbour town of Kaş, the sunken Lycian city at Kekova and Simena Castle, with optional visits to Myra and the Church of St Nicholas in Demre. There are daily swims in sheltered bays such as Firnas, Hidayet, Aquarium, Turtle Beach and Kızılada, plus an evening at Smugglers' Inn in Gökkaya Bay if you wish. The traditional wooden gulet has 6–8 double cabins for up to 16 guests, served by a captain and crew who prepare meals from local ingredients. Snorkelling gear is provided. Solo travellers can book a single cabin for a supplement. The pace is relaxed with plenty of time on deck or ashore; no special fitness is needed beyond climbing ladders and walking on uneven ground at ruins.
